One whole cookie, round and sweet,
Sitting on a little plate to eat.
Cut it once, what do we see?
Two equal parts for you and me!

Two equal pieces make the way.

Take the whole and cut once more,

Slice the pizza, nice and straight,

Half plus half makes one whole treat,
Four fourths make the whole complete.
Eight eighths bring the whole back too,
Fractions are fun for me and you!
